Material composition and why it works
C6 Coating: - Provides water and stain resistance - The C6 fluorocarbon compound forms a protective layer on the fabric, repelling water and preventing stains from adhering - Made from fluoropolymer-based compound
Metal Coating - Electromagnetic and infrared signature reduction - A thin layer of metal reflects and absorbs electromagnetic and infrared radiation, reducing the thermal signature of the wearer - Typically consists of metals like aluminum or copper, applied in a very thin layer
Woven Fibers - Structural integrity and strength - The tightly woven fibers provide the base structural strength of the fabric, ensuring durability and flexibility - Often made from high-strength synthetic fibers such as nylon or polyester
Nanomembrane - Breathability and additional water resistance - The nanomembrane allows moisture vapor to escape while blocking water from entering, ensuring the fabric remains breathable and dry - Made from nanoporous materials, often involving advanced polymers
Lining Fabric - Comfort and additional structural support - The lining fabric provides a smooth, comfortable surface against the skin or other clothing, enhancing wearability - Made from soft, durable synthetic fibers such as polyester or a polyester-cotton blend
InfraHex has developed several products, which can now be ordered through 4 M (Colt), for example. Exports for military use are subject to a special license. There is interest in supplying products to the US market, for example, and of course to places affected by armed conflict. They have both military and civilian applications. The products have been tested in Ukraine and have proven themselves. The investment will be used not only for further product development but also to strengthen sales and marketing and build logistics for easier access to foreign markets.
