The company FRUTIGO s.r.o. was established at the beginning of 2015 as a successor company of FRAPO CZ s.r.o. in order to increase the level of the existing production of fruit products based on seasonal fruit processing, to develop the original production focus and business activity by other areas related to the processing of both fruit and fruit products. One of the continuously developing areas is the production of 22°Brix apple juice for the production of apple cider vinegar, expanded to include the direct fermentation of this juice into cider for the subsequent production of vinegar in cooperation with major customers supplying the RETAIL and GASTRO segments in consumer packaging. The current market development supports another emerging area of cider production, which the company produces up to 15% alcohol content through its existing technology, adhering to the current legislation for the production of fruit wines that can be supplied for further processing as well as for final production and bottling.
We were attracted by the possible synergies - the large site provides opportunities for multiple projects, LNG, PV, company headquarters close to the motorway. Production of healthy local food and raw materials is something worth supporting. And last - it's something else. That's why we decided to present it at D-Day on January 26, 2021. The evening was interesting, we're thinking... There were a couple of ideas - like splitting the activities into several separate companies... helping to subsidize the purchase of PV and storage (which we did and Frutigo submitted and has a chance to succeed).
